Frustrating triage system fails patients repeatedly

The staff at this practice, including the receptionists and doctors, are generally pleasant. However, accessing medical care is extremely challenging. You'll likely end up in the emergency room or calling 111 because your health condition has deteriorated, which could have been addressed much earlier if not for their absurd triage system. They claim the form will be reviewed within 2 working days, but in reality, it takes at least 48 hours after submission. Consequently, by the time the doctor reviews the form to assess appointment urgency, your symptoms are two days old and significantly worse. In my case, the pharmacist next door actually diagnosed my condition and advised I urgently needed a prescription, but he couldn't provide it. The receptionist simply instructed me to complete another triage form. I've done so but opted to self-medicate to manage symptoms until I can see a GP. Over the past three months, I've visited the surgery four times, and each time the waiting area has been nearly empty with only about 3 patients. This triage form is completely ineffective and fails patients entirely.
