Frustrating wait but helpful surgery response

On 21 January, I tried to schedule an appointment online due to increasingly severe back pain. To my frustration, I discovered online booking was no longer an option. I was directed to the triage system, where I submitted the required details. I received a prompt response indicating a clinician would contact me on 12 February. Given that my lower back pain was becoming increasingly unbearable, I attempted to phone the surgery to explore faster treatment options. After waiting as the first caller in the queue for 19 minutes, I ultimately gave up. I'm skeptical about whether the triage system is functioning effectively and hope someone at the surgery will address these concerns. Previously, I had always found Lydden surgery to be exceptional. UPDATE 22nd January Following my initial review, the surgery reached out to me and arranged a doctor's appointment. I was genuinely appreciative of this gesture and have consequently adjusted my rating.
