Frustrating wait but reception staff saved the day

Scheduled a pediatric check-up for my infant, and we've been waiting since 5:20 PM, still not seen by 5:22 PM. The staff explained a medical emergency caused a 20-minute delay. Why not communicate this beforehand to prevent unnecessary rushing and stress? Completely unacceptable. However, I must acknowledge Darcy and the reception team, who consistently demonstrate exceptional professionalism and go above and beyond, even when the medical staff fail to meet their commitments.
