Frustrating Wait for a Simple Doctor's Appointment

After battling a persistent cold and respiratory issue for nearly a month, I contacted the NHS 111 service, who suggested consulting my physician. My spouse attempted to schedule a consultation, but was informed they needed to speak with me directly. Upon my call, I was informed that no appointment would be granted, and a doctor would contact me only if deemed necessary. Ultimately, I concluded that visiting the hospital was my most viable solution. It's no mystery why so many individuals end up at the Accident and Emergency department when faced with such bureaucratic obstacles.
