Frustrating wait for simple medical advice call

Late Friday afternoon, I attempted to seek guidance for my infant daughter, acknowledging it wasn't an ideal time to call. Initially positioned third in the queue at 5:15pm, I gradually moved to second by 5:40pm, and first by 6:00pm. Incredibly, I ultimately disconnected at 6:45pm, just as their office closed, without ever speaking to anyone. During daytime hours, reaching the administrative team typically takes mere minutes, making this prolonged wait completely unacceptable. The staff appeared more focused on wrapping up their day or hoping I would abandon the call and contact emergency services, which I am now compelled to do.
