Frustrating wait times on line 55

Every time there are no available slots on line 55 before calling. Arrive at the GP and find it empty, with no patients. They schedule phone appointments but then fail to call and mark them as unattended in the system. Some reception staff completely ignore what you're trying to tell them, and this happens constantly. Most of the time, there are simply no appointments available. I was at the clinic with my 4-year-old son who was experiencing severe coughing. The doctor asked if I wanted antibiotics for my son but then said he was clear/okay. When I eventually requested antibiotics, my son started to improve. Is this really how it works? What is happening with these GPs, doctors, and staff?
