Frustrating wait with glimpse of hope for care

After years of only seeing locums, pharmacists, or nurses, I finally saw my actual named GP. While Nurse Saima and Dr Al Kazi are competent and caring professionals, I still experience significant anxiety about making appointments. The practice's management is poor, with seemingly little patient consideration - today I waited 2.5 hours for an injection and ultimately had to reschedule. Their patient processing needs serious improvement, and they should prioritize appointments with long-term doctors instead of constantly rotating locums. Follow-up is abysmal; blood test results are never communicated proactively, forcing patients to chase repeatedly. Staff competence varies dramatically depending on who you encounter. Most medical practices have frustrating elements, but this surgery is exceptionally slow and inefficient in addressing patient needs. That said, some truly exceptional doctors like Dr Wale, Dr Khan, and Dr Miriam demonstrate the potential quality of care. If only the practice could retain these skilled professionals as permanent staff rather than relying on agency workers.
