Got hung up on while queuing for appointments

A really disappointing experience. I arrived early in the morning only to have my call disconnected unexpectedly. The reason given was that all available slots for that day were fully booked. I wasn't actually seeking an appointment for that same day, as I'm happy to be flexible with timing. However, when I attempted to arrange something further ahead during business hours, I was informed that booking appointments several weeks in advance wasn't possible. I feel for those who genuinely require urgent access to care - I've encountered similar difficulties with this practice previously and find the whole process quite frustrating.
