Grandfather Denied Care at Morning Appointment

If I could rate this with zero stars, I absolutely would. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. My elderly grandfather was denied a consultation and redirected to an out-of-hours clinic (despite calling at 8am) because they've altered their practice policy to reject patients with respiratory symptoms. Notably, he was just there the previous week regarding this issue, collecting test results from a throat camera examination that had discovered a lesion. As a healthcare professional, I am utterly appalled by this treatment. I'm also fully aware that any modifications to practice policies impacting patient care must be publicly disclosed on their website, which, ironically, hasn't been updated since 2021. I will be filing a formal complaint and will be reaching out to NHS complaints advocacy and the Health Service Ombudsman.
