Hard to book appointments despite short waits

The practice appears to have a relatively quiet waiting area, however booking an appointment can prove to be quite challenging.

Hi Stephen, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m really sorry to hear that you’ve found it difficult to get an appointment. I know how frustrating that can feel, and it’s not the experience we want for anyone. I did want to offer a little context, in case it’s helpful. We operate a triage‑first model for all acute medical issues, which means that most patients speak with a clinician by phone first so we can make sure they’re seen in the right way, by the right person, as quickly as possible. We also have additional waiting areas further inside the building, and our GPs often have a mixture of telephone appointments and clinical administration time during the day. This can sometimes make the waiting room look quieter than the practice actually is. That said, your experience matters, and we’d really value the chance to understand more about what happened so we can learn and improve. If you’d be open to sharing more details, please email us at [email protected]. Thank you again for your feedback, Stephen. It genuinely helps us do better.
