Hard to book appointments with unfriendly staff

The reception team could be more welcoming overall, with most interactions feeling rather cold and unwelcoming. Getting through to book an appointment proves challenging, and when contact is made, the responses often feel dismissive rather than supportive. This approach to customer service seems out of step with modern expectations and standards.

Good afternoon Niamh, May I firstly apologise if you feel that the reception staff are 'frosty'. The team are working under a considerable amount of pressure at the moment due to reduced numbers through illness and an increase of patients contacting the Surgery during the Winter months. There are also other means to be able to contact the Surgery by using our 'On-Line' Consultation service which is available via our website and you won't need to wait on the telephone system. You can also download the NHSApp which avails you to other services which links to the Surgery.
