Healthcare Gatekeepers Delay Critical Patient Care

It's frustrating how unapproachable the receptionists are when you call in. Initially, you're unable to reach a doctor or nurse until they've assessed your situation themselves. Additionally, if you want to request a prescription, it requires navigating online platforms. However, once you log in, you quickly realize that you're stuck because you lack the necessary username and password. At this rate, it seems like I might be heading towards a diabetic crisis soon. Recently, securing an appointment with a physician has become increasingly difficult; the wait time is now around four weeks. If you try to use the automated system for assistance—wow—it’s just as ineffective as talking to the receptionist directly! It's no surprise that many individuals are experiencing worsening health issues because by the time they manage to get past these obstacles and obtain an appointment, it's often too late for effective treatment.
