Heart Condition, 79 Calls, Zero Help

Attempting to secure a medical appointment here is utterly futile, with zero empathy shown for patients' circumstances. After being discharged from hospital at 30 with a critical heart condition and instructed to contact my GP urgently, I encountered nothing but indifference. My initial call was met with a dismissive 4-week wait, despite explaining my serious medical situation. They suggested calling at 8:30am for faster scheduling. Following their advice, I embarked on an absurd ordeal - 79 phone attempts between 8:30 and 8:33am, with no one answering. When someone finally picked up, all appointments were inexplicably gone. They offered a phone consultation, which is completely useless given I have physical hospital documents that need direct handover to my GP - a doctor I barely know, having last seen him when I was 15. I was repeatedly told they manage 8,500 patients, but this shouldn't excuse their systemic lack of responsiveness. Not every medical situation is identical, and their failure to answer phones directly contradicts their supposed professional standards. I'm changing practices not because of scheduling difficulties, but because of their profound lack of human compassion during an incredibly stressful period. I felt reduced to an anonymous statistic in a profession fundamentally meant to provide care and support.
