Heartbreaking experience with unsupportive medical system

The appointment scheduling process is deeply flawed and makes patients feel like they are pleading for medical attention. I am genuinely concerned for individuals with communication challenges or those lacking the confidence to navigate this complex system. As someone grieving the sudden loss of my 10-day-old son, I have been treated without the compassion and understanding I desperately need. I am quickly becoming a patient who feels defeated by this bureaucratic approach. Each day and every memory of my child feels like an exhausting struggle. It is profoundly distressing that the medical practice compounds my emotional pain by making seeking help and support feel like an additional battle. Certain physicians urgently require training in trauma-informed care, and a basic dose of empathy would significantly improve patient experiences. The lack of confidence among some doctors is clearly impacting patient outcomes and overall care quality.
