Heartless healthcare left me exhausted and frustrated

I have never experienced such appalling treatment in all my years. After obtaining a prescription and making my way to Boots, I was informed they didn't carry the required medication and I would need to return to the medical practice for a new prescription. I trudged back, only to be instructed by the doctor to go BACK to the pharmacy, determine available treatments, and then RETURN to the surgery to relay this information. (This was particularly challenging given my debilitating condition that made walking extremely painful.) When I suggested they simply make a phone call, the doctor actually claimed it would be 'too much trouble' for them. At 61 years old and struggling with a hip condition, I find their approach completely unacceptable. These healthcare professionals clearly demonstrate a shocking lack of compassion and have no business dealing with vulnerable, unwell patients.
