Heartless surgery denies urgent medical care

I contacted the surgery to verify my postcode before submitting my application, and they initially confirmed it was accepted. I completed the form with complete honesty, transparently detailing my condition and the urgency of my specific cancer screening. Statham Grove surgery subsequently informed me that my postcode was not acceptable. When I reminded them of my previous confirmation, they claimed it was a misunderstanding and that my area was not within their coverage. Upon checking their website, I confirmed that both my street and house were clearly within their service area. Despite this, they maintained that even though the street appeared eligible, my specific postcode was not, and therefore they could not accept me. I am deeply concerned this might represent discrimination against my medical condition, suggesting an unwillingness to accept a patient with health challenges. The thought that someone in urgent need of medical attention could be denied healthcare access is profoundly disheartening. I am utterly disappointed by this experience.
