Horrible healthcare service since covid pandemic hit

The situation has deteriorated dramatically since the pandemic. It was never this problematic before. Reaching someone by phone is incredibly time-consuming; I've endured wait times approaching two hours just attempting to secure an appointment, only to be told no slots are available and advised to call early morning... ironically, I had already called at 8:30 AM initially! I couldn't even schedule a consultation with a midwife! Online requests are frequently disregarded - I've submitted two in the past fortnight regarding the same matter and received absolutely no response. Then this morning, I get a text prompting me to book a health review - which I'd be delighted to do if any appointments were actually accessible!
