Iatrogenic

2 years I was with this practice during which i saw most of the attending staff so most of the below is about different people. During that time the practice; -Withdrew my rights to choose without my knowledge making referral wait times 2+ years instead of weeks. -Lied about referral outcomes deflecting their own contractual and legal duties or just not making the referrals at all leading to years of waiting for support and treatment that was never coming. -Lied about the status of said referrals when I've asked repeatedly for updates to be told "just need to wait" when there was in fact, nothing to wait for. -Withheld responses from departments I HAD received an update from when it had outlined how treatment and diagnosis were to be handled in primary care -Lied about their capacity to do diagnosis and treatment (they can and should diagnose & treat hypermobile Ehlers Dahlos syndrome but won't) -Lied about my options for mental health treatment, saying I could only take SSRI/SNRIs (which historically have made me very unwell and they knew this) for my condition then put me on a high dose instead of the agreed lowest dose without informed consent which led to major life set backs including loss of paid education, income opportunities loss and severe withdrawal symptoms when I had to come off the medication immediately after a bad reaction (surprise surprise) instead of waning off which I would have done if I had known I was on a higher dose. -Lied about my options for physical treatment saying there was nothing that could be done for a spinal injury that was causing me excruciating pain. Learnt later there was several specialist options for me but "thats just how it is now" is what I was told. Suddenly when I pressed the matter an in house physiotherapist became available but they cancelled our appointment days before after waiting for months. -Laughted and joked at my concerns regarding HRT treatment making inappropriate comments about my genitalia and that I should "think about freezing sperm" even when I asked that we keep on topic for the purpose of the call. -Failed to raise any safeguarding concerns when I told several staff I was suicidal with ideations. -Gave any concerns/complaints regarding bad practice or negligence straight to the staff in question for them to contact me directly without forewarning out of hours to "discuss" my comments with no actual investigation from the practice. -Every time I have tried to raise any of these concerns since, they first try to push the blame to departments that have nothing to do with it, I'm asked to call back to make an appointment to "discuss my concerns" when i push the issue then get told they can't do an appointment and they want it in writing but then don't respond to that either. - They have done most of these things without batting an eyelid while in the presence of trainees during our appointments. Young medical students who are learning all of the above is acceptable and appropriate for them to copy when they also become medical staff who will also be taking full NHS salaries, pensions and benefits while spreading systemic malpractice, negligence and gate keeping treatment from their patients. Best I can say about reception is they *might* book your appointment as discussed, but might also not put it into the system correctly so you turn up and there's either no appointment and then that's your problem to "call back tomorrow at 8am to make a new appointment now" or you are sat in reception for half an hour past your appointment and then get a telephone call from the doctor because they made it a telephone appointment instead but told you to come in. Also expect invasive questioning and "honorary doctorates" from call handlers who have no right, training or qualifications to ask or declare such things. They are not medical professionals. So please if you attend, be mindful of your rights and safety, ask for refusal of any treatments to be noted on your records and record all of your appointments (as is legal and your right under GDPR & RIPA law) because clearly only having the undeniable proof of all the above collected for a substantial medical negligence lawsuit is the only way for the practice to take any of this seriously.
