Ignored My 8am Video Consultation Request

The most incompetent general practice ever I submitted my consultation request at 8am when their system opens, yet received absolutely no callback. They bizarrely claimed to have attempted calling me twice and dismissed me with a text message suggesting I purchase over-the-counter medication from a pharmacy. I comprehend that the NHS is struggling with resource limitations and staff shortages, but what's the point of offering healthcare services when no actual healthcare is being provided????
