Impossible to get an appointment with this gp

Since the Covid-19 pandemic began, securing an appointment has been impossible! Every call results in the same frustrating response that no slots are available, and I'm consistently told to try again another day. Essentially, our general practitioner exists in name only, having maintained pandemic-era restrictions long after they became unnecessary. They seem to have discovered a convenient method during the peak of Covid and decided to continue it, apparently unaware that the crisis has ended and normal service should resume. Their standard approach is simply to redirect patients to call 111 or visit a walk-in center, but these alternatives just bounce patients back to the original GP, who should be responsible for providing at least a basic consultation. The quality of service is abysmal, and after three years of consistent failure to schedule an appointment, I am preparing to formally lodge a complaint. It is absolutely unacceptable that making a simple medical appointment has become such an insurmountable challenge.
