Impossible to reach, month-long wait for phone call

If you experience respiratory concerns, you're advised to ring back the following morning at 8am, though this resulted in an appointment being scheduled approximately four weeks away.... A remote consultation to determine whether an in-person visit is necessary. This means I've been given a telephone appointment roughly 30 days ahead to assess if I actually require a face-to-face appointment? I'm unable to secure same-day slots when calling at 8am.... As this is when most people attempt to reach the practice. After 8.30am..... Available appointments have been taken. Staff cannot allocate slots for the next day or elsewhere in the week, so patients must accept appointments scheduled a month in advance. This practice would benefit from reviewing its own systems rather than relying on patient persistence. I also attended previously with a significant arm injury approximately a year ago, and was directed to attend hospital as the practice was closing. The hospital subsequently discharged me with dressing materials and medication. This practice appears to struggle with providing comprehensive care pathways for patients.
