Incompetent front desk ruins otherwise great medical practice

I've consistently had positive interactions with the medical staff, physicians, and administrative processes. However, the front desk personnel have been a continuous source of frustration. After submitting forms to the front desk as my doctor instructed, I called to follow up and discovered they had misplaced them. Their dismissive response of "you'll just have to redo everything" seems to be their version of an apology, which falls far short of professional customer service.
