Incompetent staff make healthcare communication impossible

The staff answering calls at this practice are incredibly incompetent and unprofessional. I phoned today on behalf of my father, who's been undergoing tests after something was discovered with his LIVER. He received a text this morning instructing him to call and arrange a consultation with a doctor about his test results. A woman answered, and when I explained the situation, she didn't even ask for my father's name or details about the test. She abruptly stated they have no available phone consultation slots and that we must call back tomorrow at 8am. It was 11am when I called her. Why must I wait until the next morning at 8am to arrange a doctor's call for my dad? This makes no sense. Why couldn't she schedule a doctor's callback during our current call? How complicated is it to discuss liver test results? It would take mere minutes. This is absolutely ridiculous, and it's not the first time I've experienced problems with their phone staff. Around mid-APRIL, I previously argued with a woman when trying to schedule my father's yearly health check, and she claimed there were NO APPOINTMENTS until JUNE 20th 😡, which was nearly 2 MONTHS away. Is this considered normal, professional service? EDIT: UPDATE... When I called at 8:30am on Monday, July 22nd, they informed me the next available appointment for a doctor to discuss my father's liver ultrasound results is Wednesday, July 31st. This is a complete joke, utterly ridiculous, and an unacceptable timeframe for communicating patient test results.
