Incompetent surgery fails to help urgent medical need

I registered with this surgery a month ago, being new to the area and needing blood pressure tablets. A local pharmacy urgently advised me to use 911.nhs.uk to request an emergency supply and register with the Old Court House Surgery. I completed the online registration and emergency supply request, believing everything was in order. Weeks passed with no communication, and my emergency supply was running low. I sent a follow-up email, which quickly confirmed my repeat prescription was en route to my nominated pharmacy, with instructions to allow 72 hours for processing. When I arrived at the pharmacy, they knew nothing about my prescription. They suggested contacting the surgery, so I went immediately. An older woman with dyed black hair and black-rimmed glasses assisted me. She struggled to hear my details and initially claimed I wasn't registered. After clarifying my registration, she insisted no prescription had been sent. I explained my previous registration, email communication, and urgent need. She offered an appointment for the next day, which I couldn't attend due to work. I had specifically made time today to resolve this issue. She seemed unsympathetic, suggesting I wait until I could take time off. I pointed out that I had followed all procedures and had email confirmation. She appeared dismissive, giving an attitude that suggested I was inconveniencing her. When I asked if I was being sent away empty-handed, she sarcastically apologized. Realizing I would receive no immediate assistance, I left frustrated. Now I must wait for an appointment, despite having done everything requested of me, all because of apparent administrative negligence.
