After seeking a specialist referral nearly a year ago, the practice suggested a clinic with an absurdly long two-year waiting period. I proactively identified multiple alternative options with shorter wait times, but it took numerous exhausting conversations before my GP would even consider them. Essentially, I squandered almost half a year just getting him to agree to make the referral. When I eventually followed up, I discovered he never actually submitted the paperwork at all. Instead of offering an explanation or expressing any regret, the medical practice simply sent a generic message with a link instructing me to restart the entire referral process from scratch. My advice: steer clear of this surgery if you anticipate needing genuine medical attention.
