What's the story behind this?* Gratitude to Dr Sally Monk Appreciation to Dr Lucy Dormer And most importantly, heartfelt thanks to our cherished Doctor, Dr John Parrish upon his recent retirement. Your absence will be felt, Dr Parrish, and we are deeply thankful for your exceptional dedication and unwavering integrity as a physician! Thank you Medical professionals have a 'Duty of care' towards patients. But Dr Sally Monk, you have demonstrated extraordinary commitment, extending far beyond standard expectations to care for all patients unconditionally. Our sincere appreciation! Dr Lucy Dormer, in just a single consultation, you accomplished what multiple hospital specialists failed to achieve over an entire year of back-and-forth appointments! Your dermatological expertise was truly remarkable - I am living proof of your exceptional skills! Thank you! During June, I had an urgent appointment at ST Albans Surgery, where I was seen by a female physician (Dr Sally Monk). I had experienced a fall with significant rib pain and noticeable swelling. The doctor requested I raise my shirt to thoroughly examine my rib cage from multiple angles. I received prescriptions for anti-inflammatory medication and pain relief, concluding the consultation. Weeks later in July, I unexpectedly received a communication via NHS app from Dr Lucy Dormer referring me to Hospital regarding my back's skin condition! I had been battling persistent skin issues and had consulted numerous hospital specialists throughout the previous year. Upon reading the communication, I was perplexed - who was Dr Lucy Dormer, and how did she know my medical details? After researching, I discovered dermatology was indeed her specialization! During my initial emergency visit, Dr Sally Monk had apparently observed my problematic skin condition and presumably consulted her colleague (Dr Lucy Dormer) about my medical records. I promptly scheduled an appointment with Dr Lucy Dormer, hoping to avoid another hospital referral. Immediately upon examining my skin/back, she diagnosed an infection and compromised immune system, prescribing antibiotics. The result was instantaneous and transformative! Profound thanks to Doctor Lucy Dormer! Immense gratitude to Doctor Sally Monk!
