Late again and no communication

I was scheduled for a 2:20 PM consultation, but by 2:50 PM, I approached the front desk to inquire about the delay. The receptionist explained that a meeting running since 1:30 PM was causing the holdup. What's unacceptable is that no effort was made to communicate the situation to patients waiting their turn. This level of disregard is shocking and perfectly illustrates why people lose faith in medical appointments. I arrived on time, yet the doctor clearly did not prioritize my scheduled visit.
