Long phone queues make appointments hard to get

The clinical staff I have encountered over the years have been excellent. I have experienced no problems with the administrative team during my recent interactions with the practice. All team members have been understanding about the current shortage of available appointments. However, the limited availability of appointments and the booking system are areas where this practice falls short. I have become increasingly frustrated in my attempts to reach a GP, frequently spending considerable time in the telephone queue only to find that no slots were open.
