Long phone queues make appointments impossible to book

I found it extremely frustrating when trying to reach the practice on behalf of a family member who required an urgent appointment. I waited in the phone queue for an extended period without being able to connect with anyone, which was disappointing given the size of the practice. The reception experience left me feeling that patient needs were not being prioritised. The wait time to speak with someone about booking an appointment seemed unreasonably long and suggests the practice may benefit from additional staffing resources. I've noticed that other patients have shared similar concerns in their feedback, and there appears to be a pattern of negative reviews. It seems the practice has not made visible improvements to address these recurring complaints about phone access and appointment booking. For a practice of this size, I would expect appointment requests to be handled more promptly. The experience was disappointing, and this appears to be a consistent issue rather than an isolated incident. Overall, I found the service fell short of what I would consider acceptable standards for patient care.
