Long wait and missed appointment frustration

On August 21st, 2025, I had a scheduled consultation at the Wembley Park medical centre, set for 2:50 pm. I arrived 10 minutes ahead of time, with two staff members at the reception and several patients ahead of me in the queue. Following a 30-minute wait to reach the desk, a female employee processed my check-in and directed me to wait in the green zone (waiting area 2). After approximately one hour of sitting and waiting, I approached the reception to inquire about the delay. Staff informed me that I was not on their appointment list and suggested I contact the booking centre to reschedule. This situation was particularly inconvenient as I typically work full days until 4 pm, requiring me to leave my workplace early to attend this appointment.
