Long Wait for Sick Daughter's Doctor Appointment

I recently visited a medical clinic with my 7-year-old daughter, who was suffering from a persistent cough and fever. Despite having a scheduled 4 p.m. appointment, we were left waiting for 20 minutes and then told we hadn't properly registered in their system - with no prior communication about this requirement. The entire experience felt like a complete waste of time, with staff seeming indifferent and merely showing up for their paychecks. Our tax contributions to the NHS appear to be entirely futile. In those rare instances when medical assistance is critically needed, securing a doctor's help becomes nearly impossible. The entire healthcare system feels disrespectful and inefficient. Finding a dentist is equally challenging. The situation deteriorates annually, and I'm seriously considering relocating. The service is so poor that if possible, I would withdraw every penny of funding from the NHS. It's infuriating that five doctors seemingly cannot manage 50 patients daily, whereas in other European countries, a single general practitioner handles such a patient load effortlessly. Their performance suggests laziness combined with greed. As a final insult, there's a prominent notice claiming immediate appointments are available for unwell children - yet this clearly doesn't apply universally. Absolutely frustrating!
