Long wait with no apology or explanation given

During my infant's routine immunisation appointment, I experienced several concerns with the care provided. The appointment began approximately 25 minutes behind schedule, with no communication regarding the delay or acknowledgement of the wait time. When I requested to hold my child during the procedure, I was instructed that she would need to be placed on the examination bed instead. This approach was unexpected to me, as I felt it may have caused unnecessary distress for my child to experience discomfort whilst separated from their parent. Regarding the administration of the three required injections, they were administered individually with brief intervals between each one, allowing only a few minutes for my child to settle before the next injection was given. This method seemed to prolong the overall distress compared to my experiences with previous children, where the approach appeared different and less protracted. Additionally, when oral medication was administered, I felt the clinician was rushing to see the next patient due to the earlier delay. This meant the medication was given before my child had fully settled, resulting in my child inhaling some of the substance and subsequently choking. No apology was offered for this incident. Upon departure, I also noticed that no dressings were applied to the injection sites, which I would have expected as standard practice. I intend to submit a formal written complaint regarding this appointment.
