Long Waits and Endless Phone Queues

Waiting times for a typical call stretch beyond 40 minutes, even during standard hours. With 8 people queued up, you can't help but worry that patients might give up and disconnect out of frustration. After submitting an e-consult form, there's often no response, forcing you to repeat the entire process by phone and invest another 40-plus minutes of your time. The entire system feels fragmented, with zero effective communication between different departments, leaving patients to constantly follow up and chase information. Despite these significant challenges, there are a few genuinely helpful receptionists who do stand out.
