Long waits and unhelpful reception staff throughout

I've had a really frustrating experience here. I've been trying to get an ongoing health issue resolved for over two years without any progress. I've seen multiple clinicians and was referred to hospital with incorrect information. The service feels uncaring overall. As someone managing a chronic condition, I've struggled to access necessary monitoring appointments—everything takes an extremely long time. The administrative burden falls entirely on patients while the practice provides minimal support. Some reception staff have been quite rude. There's also been a significant issue with appointment continuity. I've had conversations about unresolved matters abruptly ended, forcing me to restart the process on another day. I've lived elsewhere and this standard of care doesn't compare favourably to other areas. Following my departure from this practice, I noticed my medication had been substantially reduced without proper discussion, leaving me without essential supplies. When I queried this, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. I feel the practice uses its systems in ways that don't genuinely benefit patients, despite what's communicated. I've since moved to another surgery where prescriptions are processed efficiently—a simple phone call results in medication being sent to the pharmacy within minutes, which feels like standard practice elsewhere. The practice hasn't undergone external review since 2016, which I believe is overdue given the issues I've experienced. There were a couple of staff members who provided genuinely good care, but overall the experience has been disappointing. My new practice operates very differently, and the contrast has been stark. I'd rate my experience here as poor and would encourage others to seek alternatives if possible.
