Long waits made mental health crisis worse

I found the mental health referral process to be quite frustrating. When transferred to specialist services, I contacted them to enquire about waiting times and was simply told I would need to be patient. Given my previous hospitalisation and current struggles, the lengthy delays feel inadequate. When I've requested urgent appointments, I've been informed of significant waiting periods, which feels insufficient given the daily challenges I'm facing with my mental wellbeing. The lack of timely support from the mental health service has left me feeling unsupported during a difficult time.
