Marie, the receptionist, stands out as the sole staff member who genuinely shows compassion and courtesy to patients. My heartfelt appreciation goes to Marie for her kindness, which is incredibly significant when you're unwell and vulnerable. In stark contrast, the other receptionists are confrontational, prone to raising their voices, accusing patients of being aggressive, and abruptly ending phone calls. It's truly disappointing because the medical professionals themselves are actually quite competent. I'm seriously contemplating switching to a different general practice because the stress of interacting with these other receptionists is so intense that it elevates my blood pressure and potentially exacerbates my health issues.
