Merger destroyed quality of patient care forever

Following the merger with Newton Medical Centre, Newton Community Hospital Services has become significantly less accessible. The service was previously smooth and straightforward, but now navigating it has become challenging. Recently, I received inaccurate guidance about a consistent treatment I've been receiving for my extremely painful knee over the past three years. As a result, I must now obtain the same treatment at Ashton, but only after first conducting a telephone consultation with a locum GP. This approach does not, in my view, represent genuine continuity of patient care. The situation is deeply frustrating, though I must acknowledge that the receptionists have remained polite and courteous throughout.
