Messaging system beats fighting for phone lines

I value the ability to send messages through the NHS App for non-urgent matters, as it means I'm not taking up their time or mine attempting to reach them by telephone. It would be beneficial to have the possibility of scheduling appointments further ahead as was available previously, though I recognise that nowadays this appears to be a common situation across most practices - with patients competing for same-day slots. I find the streamlined check-in process using the touch screen upon arrival to be convenient.
