Missed Appointment After Two Months of Waiting

I arrived for my scheduled consultation at 12:00, fifteen minutes ahead of my 12:15 slot. After informing the reception staff about my presence, they inexplicably failed to check me in. Consequently, the physician departed before I could be seen. Given my critical allergy condition and the extensive two-month wait for this appointment, the experience was utterly frustrating. It seems they are completely indifferent to patients' needs, showing no understanding of how challenging it is to secure an NHS appointment these days. Having traveled all the way from Cambridge, I can confidently say this is the most abysmal service I have ever encountered.
