Missed appointment despite painful back journey

I am utterly frustrated with the reception's handling of my situation today. Due to transportation disruptions with the train strike and delayed bus, I arrived 25 minutes behind schedule. I had proactively informed the receptionist beforehand about my potential late arrival and explained my severe back pain. Despite this, the receptionist refused to let me see the physiotherapist. This is particularly galling because in previous visits, I have consistently been punctual, yet today I was turned away when I was merely running late. The additional stress of rushing from the station has only intensified my existing pain. It is unacceptable that a receptionist can unilaterally decide a patient's fate without consulting the medical professional, especially when the patient is clearly in significant discomfort. Their rigid approach shows a complete lack of compassion and understanding.
