Missed appointments and poor follow-through lately

Things seem to have deteriorated recently. Blood tests have been overlooked and necessary referrals haven't been processed. When a family member had a health concern, they were advised to contact 111 due to lack of available appointments. The 111 service indicated they had arranged a telephone consultation with the surgery for that same day, but the call never came through. This resulted in having to follow up independently and attend an alternative walk-in centre instead. The overall standard of care appears to have declined noticeably over the past couple of years. Appointment availability remains a significant challenge. The practice would likely benefit from additional clinical staff to help address these issues.
