Missed Deep Vein Thrombosis at Local Surgery

I've been a patient at this surgery for a decade, but it has seriously deteriorated in recent years. Booking an appointment is now impossible without a smartphone or computer. What about elderly patients or those with accessibility challenges? Getting a doctor's appointment is practically unattainable. Patients are routinely seen by nurses instead. When I brought my elderly father recently, a nurse examined his swollen calf and, despite his pain description, incorrectly diagnosed varicose veins. She recommended cold compresses and compression socks, which he explained he couldn't tolerate due to pressure sensitivity, and suggested paracetamol. The following day, I had to rush him to A&E, where they discovered a serious deep vein thrombosis between his groin and knee, requiring urgent tests, scans, and medication. I'm thankful we sought emergency care, as this condition could have been fatal. The nurse was completely incompetent, dismissive of his symptoms, and even reprimanded me for not indicating on the booking form that I would translate (despite no option existing to note this without specifically requesting an interpreter). This is just one example of their poor care. I've also had a terrible experience with a GP regarding my 12-year-old. The doctor listened but documented notes that captured barely a fraction of the concerns we raised. Obtaining a blood test is like begging, even with a child appearing pale, exhausted, and lethargic.
