Mostly great but one rude receptionist ruins all

The medical professionals and nearly all front desk personnel are wonderful. It's uncommon to find a practice with such pleasant receptionists. Yet, there's always an exception. Whoever staffs the Tuesday afternoon shift needs a perspective adjustment. When I reached out with concerns, I was met with dismissiveness and total disregard for my well-being. I tried to explain that I needed guidance or to consult a physician, but was curtly told to call back the next day. This was particularly distressing given my delicate first-trimester status, and she seemed eager to terminate our conversation. No attempt was made to understand the nature of my call. Clearly, protocols must be established to ensure patients can communicate their worries in a supportive atmosphere. Her approach effectively silences patients. I'm perplexed how someone so devoid of compassion and interpersonal skills remains employed. Perhaps the practice should critically examine this staffing situation?
