Neglectful gp practice fails patient completely

Terrible service where patients are never truly heard or taken seriously, just brushed aside. I'm experiencing concerning numbness in my left arm that's increasingly painful and constant, spreading from my wrist to my arm and now shoulder. They're too budget-conscious to authorize necessary tests, despite my family history of motor neurone disease and sudden family deaths. They inconsistently handle prescriptions - a locum once provided an effective cream for my skin condition, but they won't repeat it. My hemorrhoids are unbearable, and I desperately need specialist consultation. Adding to my distress, I've suffered multiple miscarriages, with a third occurring recently. When I initially became pregnant, I requested blood tests and an early scan. Gillian, who manages the practice with Dr. Bracey, was incredibly dismissive and condescending. She criticized my proactive approach to monitoring my pregnancy, especially given my previous near-fatal bleeding experiences. The communication and care have been appalling. They ordered incorrect tests, failed to follow up properly, and displayed a complete lack of empathy. Their attitude suggests they view patients as inconveniences rather than individuals needing compassionate healthcare. The staff's approach seems more about administrative convenience than patient welfare. I would rate them zero stars. My appointments are sporadic and ineffective. I'm left managing numerous unaddressed health concerns - a numb arm, potential bowel issues, and the emotional trauma of repeated miscarriages. They've even hindered my professional life by refusing to provide necessary medical documentation. The situation reminds me tragically of my sister's fatal experience with medical negligence. I've escalated my complaints to NHS England, believing that patient advocacy is crucial for improving healthcare standards. Every interaction feels like a battle, and I simply want competent, compassionate medical care. Why should healthcare be about whether staff like you, rather than providing professional, thorough treatment? If they claim to be a five-star service, they should actually demonstrate those standards.
