Negligent care nearly cost my husband his life

My spouse experienced persistent headaches for a fortnight and finally secured a medical consultation, where they suggested a potential tooth infection. Prescribed penicillin caused adverse reactions, prompting him to discontinue the medication. After another two weeks—now at week four with ongoing head pain—he contacted the clinic last Wednesday and was promised a callback, which never materialized until Thursday. The physician then attributed the issue to neck problems and prescribed nighttime medication. Taking the tablet Thursday evening, he noted its sedative effect. Friday morning, he felt completely disoriented and suspected the medication's impact, attempting to contact the medical practice for guidance. With no response forthcoming, he called 111, resulting in urgent transfer to Worthing for a CT scan that revealed a brain bleed. Subsequently rushed to Brighton for emergency surgery, he was fortunately saved. We have definitively decided to seek alternative medical care due to this alarming sequence of events.
