I am truly impressed by the newly implemented appointment scheduling system. After filling out a form, I received a phone call just hours later to arrange my appointment. Those frustrating times of being on hold and finding myself at number 30 in the queue are now a thing of the past! Personally, I find this new approach to be fantastic. However, I believe it may not accommodate everyone effectively, particularly older individuals who might lack confidence with technology. It would be beneficial to have a dedicated phone line for seniors so they can still make appointments without relying on digital devices to fill out forms. UPDATE - 20/06/25 My elderly parents-in-law encountered difficulties when trying to use the new online system. After lending them some assistance, we found there seemed to be a technical glitch present. When we reached out to the surgery for help, we had the pleasure of speaking with Sam Busby, who delivered exceptional customer service. Sam was incredibly accommodating and even suggested that we come into the surgery in person to address our concerns directly. During our visit there, Sam exhibited remarkable patience and empathy toward my parents-in-law while guiding us through resolving the issue together successfully. Their commitment to providing excellent patient care was impressive; they were willing even go beyond their scheduled work hours just so that we could leave contented with our experience. Thankfully though, such measures were unnecessary because Sam adeptly handled everything swiftly and effectively during our conversation! THANK YOU so much for your help again Sam :-)
