Nightmare nhs journey through medical maze

The absolute worst medical experience ever. I wasted 30 minutes on the phone with 111 services. They instructed me to go to Queens Medical Centre, but upon arrival, they redirected me to A & E. I took a taxi to A & E, where they claimed they shouldn't have sent me and told me to call 111 again. When I called back, they repeated the same interrogation for another 30 minutes and again referred me to Queens Medical Centre. I explained on the phone that they previously refused me, but the operator insisted this referral was genuine. I returned to Queens Medical Centre, and they again sent me to A & E, all while my blood pressure was alarmingly high at 100 x 165 for a 40-year-old. I'm completely bewildered why the NHS is operating like this. They once had an excellent reputation, but now they're just wasting time and seemingly waiting for patients to deteriorate or worse.
