Nightmare phone system drains time and wallet

Scheduling an 8am appointment is incredibly challenging. I wasted over half an hour attempting to reach the medical office for a prescription refill: 10 minutes just to connect and then another 25 minutes waiting in a phone queue before I gave up. Being a BT customer, this futile effort cost me £5 at 20p per minute...and I still haven't resolved my prescription need. The phone system feels like a deliberate financial drain designed to frustrate patients, and it's absolutely ridiculous. The actual medical staff are competent and professional when you finally manage to see them, which is why I'm grudgingly giving one star.
