Online callback request left me waiting without contact

I spent several weeks attempting to secure an appointment by phone before deciding to submit a request through the surgery's online form, which is advertised as being suitable for non-urgent matters. Despite being notified via text that a clinician would contact me within 24 hours, no call materialised. When I followed up with the surgery directly, I was informed that my request had been withdrawn because my case was not classified as urgent. This seemed contradictory given that the online service is specifically designed for non-urgent cases. It appears there is a disconnect between how the surgery's services are presented and how they are actually managed. This inconsistency raises concerns about whether patients can rely on the information provided about available services.
