Online forms make concerns feel unheard

My concerns with this practice began following the introduction of the new online form system. Since implementing this change, the standard of care I have experienced has noticeably declined. I frequently feel that the forms I complete are not being thoroughly reviewed or given proper consideration. When responses do arrive from clinical staff, they often seem to overlook the specific issues I have outlined. On one instance, I communicated serious health anxieties, yet these were not acknowledged in the reply I received. The insufficient level of medical attention is now negatively impacting my wellbeing. I am losing confidence in the process of seeking help, as my attempts to communicate my needs clearly and persistently do not appear to result in being understood. When I recently contacted the practice for assistance because another healthcare provider was not responding adequately, I was advised by a clinician that I needed to take greater personal responsibility in managing my care. This feedback was upsetting. I have been making considerable efforts to manage my situation – completing forms, following up, and explaining my circumstances – yet these efforts frequently lead to feeling overlooked or disregarded. The situation feels contradictory, as increased effort to engage with the system seems to result in less responsiveness. This experience has left me feeling unsupported by an organisation whose purpose is to deliver care. The reason this is not a lower rating is that there have previously been individual clinicians here who demonstrated genuine commitment to their patients. I have valued their approach; however, accessing their support now feels increasingly difficult.
